Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Who can benefit from this technique?
A:
Anyone from children to the elderly. It is a gentle technique, and can be used on a wide range of emotional and/or physical issues.

Q: Does EFT help everyone?
A: The EFT's Success Rate is estimated at between 50-99% dependent
on the skill and experience of the therapist using it and the    individual's commitment to their healing process. It has been found however that a small percentage (1-5%) of people that receive little benefit from the application of EFT.  However, EFT is being constantly developed and reviewed so even that small percentage may be reduced yet further over time.

Q: Can I Learn to Use it for Myself?
A:
The beauty of EFT is that not only can you work over the phone with people, individuals can do their own self-healing.
If you do have some major issues, it is usually best to get these out of the way, with an EFT therapist and then strengthens your own self-healing process. One of the key benefits of EFT is how easily it can be learned and applied as a self-help technique.

Q: Are the points only on one side of the body?
A:
No - (with the exception of on top of the head, just under the nose and chin points which are central) all EFT points are symmetrically
located on either side of the body. You can tap on either side of
the body and with either hand.

Q: Are there any side effects?
A: Some reactions that may occur as a result of using EFT are listed below. These usually also indicate a release of some form has taken place also:
*
Yawning/Burping!
Yes honestly,
 yawning/burping indicates something has been released and also allows a balance to take place within the energy system of the body.
* Tiredness
After an EFT session, it is possible that you feel tired and sleepy. This can imply that the work done was on a deeper level and sometimes exhausting. Ideally, you would then need to rest for a little while, upto maybe 15 minutes minimum in order to gain greater benefits from the EFT. Although without this rest it is still possible for the EFT to work.
* "Mellow" Feeling

The word "mellow" or feeling spaced out, is almost like being in a trance type state. You can feel quite dreamy and it can sometimes mean that you have released a good deal of tension as a result of the EFT.

Through Success Coaching using the Principles of EFT, stress can be reduced and there are also other positive benefits you can experience. Tapping although it may seem silly, is good for you on every level and it is extremely unlikely that you will experience any adverse reactions from it.
